Description: Up for your consideration a pair of Vintage Levi Garrett & Sons Brown/Amber Snuff Bottles with Cork Stoppers, in a very good condition. Each bottle has some remains of original paper label and 4 raised dots (different configuration) on the bottoms which indicated the strongest strength of snuff. Bottles are approximately 2½" wide and 4½" tall. Cork stoppers are little too small and don't fit tight anymore due to the age. Labels read: TOBACCO SCOTCH & RAPPEE SNUFF, MANUFACTURED AND Sold by American Snuff Div., Conwood Corporation, Memphis, Tennessee 38101, ORIGINATED BY LEVI GARRETT & SONS, No. 128 So. Front Street at the Draw Bridge PHILADA. NET WT. 5.58 OZ/Net Contents 6 Oz. I found no significant condition issues with these snuff bottles, but signs of previous use and ownership should be expected consistent with its vintage timeline and should be taken into consideration with age and ownership.
