Description: 2 Antique 1800s Hand Colored / Painted Prints MOSQUE Sultan of Achmet & Bajazet Up for sale is a pair of terrific antique mosque themed engraving prints that have been delicately hand colored / painted. Both are framed and matted. There's the COURT OF THE MOSQUE OF BAJAZET. The artist is William Henry Barlett (1809-1854) and the engraving is by T. Higham. It dates to approx. 1840 The other is THE MOSQUE OF SULTAN ACHMET. The artist is Thomas Allom and the engraving is by E. Goodall. The hand coloring is expertly done. It dates to first half of 19th century. I can't see behind the matting but what shows is a little smaller than 9" X 7". The metal frames are gold tone and are approx. 14.5" X 11.5" There's some light scratch wear to the frames but these are ready for hanging and the prints are in excellent condition. *Please note that my shipping time is up to 5 business days as I have multiple jobs and can only ship one day a week.
