Description: This is a ticket stub (see picture) from the FIRST BASEBALL GAME EVER PLAYED at OLDSMOBILE PARK in LANSING, MICHIGAN. Oldsmobile Park (now named Cooley Law School Stadium) was finished just before the 1996 season of the Class A Minor League LANSING LUGNUTS team. On April 3, 1996, just days before the start of the Lugnuts' season, MICHIGAN and MICHIGAN STATE played a collegiate game at Oldsmobile Park. This stub is from that collegiate game and it is clearly printed "Inaugural Day". It is clean and intact, exhibiting light wear and creasing from handling and storage over the past 19 years. It would make a nice addition to your own collection, or it would make a wonderful gift for that Oldsmobile enthusiast, Lansing historian, Michigan or MSU fan, or vintage ticket stub collector in your life!
