1990s MONSOON Girls Crushed Velvet Formal Party Tiered Dress Navy Purple 9/10 VG

Description: Offering a beautiful crushed velvet girl's fancy dress from MONSOON. Perfect for holiday parties, wedding, formal or other special occasion. From my daughter's childhood wardrobe, bought in a shop outside London in the mid 1990's on a family trip to England. Size Girls 9/10. Features: Crew neck high waist bodice with half sleeves and button back. Tie belt and long tiered skirt in lush navy blue crushed velvet with a royal purple ruffle at the bottom. 100% viscose with a 100% cotton lined bodice. Skirt is 29" from waist, button back with tie to adjust. Velvet fabric that flows and shimmers when you move, no wrinkles, lightweight and great for travel! Circumference of skirt is almost 11 feet, making it the ultimate skirt for twirling on the dance floor! The high waist and length made is so that my daughter got several years out of it as she grew taller. She wore a crinoline underneath to make the skirt fuller, not included. Very good pre-owned condition. Beautiful, flowy, crushed velvet. Bodice is lined with cotton. Vintage 1990's. Purchased in England for my daughter who could not resist a twirly skirt. Worn a few times to family weddings. There are a couple tiny spots on the skirt where it looks like the velvet is worn away. Not noticeable at all unless you are looking for them. I could not find any other flaws. Freshly steam cleaned and ready to wear. Dry clean or steam clean only. PLEASE check measurements to be sure of fit. This fabric does NOT stretch!
