1987-’88 Fender Korea Squire Stratocaster Rare Vintage Upgrades Black

Description: 1987-’88 Fender SquireKorea Electric Guitar Made by SamickKorea Includes: Guitar and Squire Case I purchased this guitar used from a music store in the early 90’s. The original pickups were faulty so I had my luthier install some used, good sounding Lawrence blade humbucking pickups and re-did the electronics. He also installed a new metallic gold color pickguard and an off brand adjustable bridge. The neck is a super slim design and is extremely easy to play. The neck has the original sealed cast metal Fender tuners that work very well. The strings are ok but could be changed and bridge could use a set up or upgrade because the bridge bass plate is cracked, so operation is sketchy. The tremolo is rather stiff and springs squeak but can be adjusted. The guitar shows signs of use but hasn’t been abused. There are small scratches throughout.All electronics check out and sounds really good. The case is a Fender Squire molded and is in great condition. All feet and hardware are intact and working.
