Over time, the thin plastic joining the hinge to the door flexes and cracks due to the heat and stress the door is exposed to. Eventually, the door separates from the hinge and your truck is stuck in defrost mode.The Blend Door shown is printed as a single piece using 3D printing technology using rugged ABS plastic. ABS plastic can withstand exposure to 100 degrees C (80 degrees C sustained), making ABS a suitable material for this application.This version of the door is the "Deluxe" version. The Deluxe Version ships with instruction pages, the door with foam pre-attached, and a hardware packet that should make the door ready to install as soon as it arrives to you.
