Click Photos to Enlarge Description Here is a rare original October 1979 SCHWINN STINGRAY "Tornado" 20" muscle bike (KQ Serial Number... Halloween bike! ) This bike is from the era when most everything was cool! (the HEMICUDA, Mach 1 Mustang, and Camaro Z-28 come to mind!) This bike is in very original condition. In fact, as far as I can tell, nearly every single part of this bike is original. This bike has been in long term storage and has not been owned by collectors. Be the first to get this bike back into the light and enjoy it! *The bike is in the original and very appealing SUNSET ORANGE factory painted color. (you rarely see this color which makes this one cool!) The bike has cool wide original BMX style handlebars, matching hand grips, cool rear sissy bar, unique pedals, and so much more ! I dont know where you would find another like it! It is awesome! You can read the chainguard lettering really well unlike most of them. The bike is an original single speed with operable brakes. The seat is the unique original "Bread Box" style seat. (these are rare and usually trashed when you find them. This one looks fairly nice for its age. See pics) This one has cool chrome Schwinn 20" S7 rims front and rear with a Shimano rear hub. The tires hold air! Both are slightly newer. I dont think this bike has many miles since new. (see pics and be your own judge) *If you collect Schwinn Stingray or BMX bikes, this is a cool "crossover" bike. Most people dont even know these exist! A very unique ride that you rarely see in any condition! *Now is your chance to own one of the COOLEST bikes EVER MADE! Make someone in your life happy with this one. This is a cool bike that you can enjoy for years! It is money in the bank and will only go UP in value! You RARELY find these bikes anymore! They were all abused and thrown away back in the 1970s-80s. Finding one these days is a big challenge. If you check out Ebay, the selection on any 1960s Stingray bikes is very little. They are very cool and people enjoy owning, riding, and displaying them! Most people do not sell these bikes once they have them. I believe this to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted. *NOTED FLAWS It is not 100% flawless but is quite respectable for its age. The paint looks fairly good for a 40+ year old boys bike! (has chips scratches etc) The chrome is shiny but is not perfect show quality. (would look nicer with the chrome polished) Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them.
