1979 Mego Elastic MICKEY MOUSE Stretch Armstrong, MEGA ULTRA RARE, Maybe 5 left

Description: You will not see another one of these! This is as rare as it gets! This Mickey Mouse Elastic Mego Stretch Armstrong toy is brand new in original box with original tape sealing the top! If you collect these and know about these, you know you're looking at pure gold! This is it! The only one! The "syrup" guts has leaked from the latex. Pretty much all of these Mego Stretches have the same issue. You can see the syrup on the bottom of the plastic inside the box but doesn't seem to be on the toy itself as shown. Produced to reach a much younger crowd of children between 6 and 8 years of age, The Mickey Mouse as well as the Casper and Donald Duck were definitley treated much worse than the larger Mego Elastics that were bought by kids at least 3 to 4 years older. Just think about what some little 6 year old kid would do with one of these things. Stretched, Bit, Stepped on, thrown in the sand box and the dirt,attacked with color markers or crayons, These Mickeys were doomed from the very start of their creation! These Elastics were just not made to hold up to that kind of abuse. So now, 30 years later we can see the rusults of such neglect and abuse by the incredibly scarce numbers that remain today. Only 4 Mickey Mice have been found to date and all 4 Mickey's have some degree of latex damage. Fortunatly, these 4 remaining Mickeys have been rescued by collectors that understand just what 4 left in the world means.Mego Elastic Mickey Mouse is from the Mego Elastic line of stretch toys. Just like the Stretch Armstrong figure of old, it is filled with syrup and back in 1979 you could stretch this figure and it would return to its original position. Today, over 30 years later, Mickey has become incredibly rare with only 5 confirmed left in existence to date. This is an incredible piece to own. This Mickey is 100% original, no repairs, and is amazingly clean. It was never used. This Mickey comes with Original Box, Original Plastic Tray and Original Instructions .
