Description: Vintage Old Postcard. 100% Original! The Interesting card. Soviet Issue, Collection Russian Postcard. RARE! Fabulous illustrations. "The Brave Little Tailor" (German: Das tapfere Schneiderlein) is a fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm. Plot: after work, a poor tailor prepares to have a slice of bread with plum jam for lunch. Flies flock to his food; he swings his sword and slaps seven of them with one blow. Considering this a feat, the little tailor cuts out a belt for herself, on which she embroiders the words: "With one blow I kill seven." Inspired, he goes out into the wide world to seek his fortune. On one mountain he meets a giant, offering him companionship. The giant wants to test his new acquaintance first. In the end, thanks to his quick-wittedness, the tailor emerges victorious from any danger and marries the princess, receiving half the kingdom to boot. The moral of the tale: even a weak person, if he is only self-confident and resourceful, can achieve a lot in life. ...- Well, my friend, how is it? - asks the tailor Hans.- Not bad, - says the giant. - Now let's see if you can carry a tree on your shoulders. He led the tailor to a large felled oak tree and said:- If you are so strong, then help me carry this tree out of the forest.- Okay, - answered the tailor, and thought to himself: "I am weak but clever, and you are strong but stupid. I can always deceive you." And he said to the giant:- You only put the trunk on your shoulders, and I will carry all the branches and twigs. After all, they will be heavier. And so they did. ...
