But if you are going to ask about the availability of other S1, S2, S3, etc owner's manuals please just be patient because I plan to reproduce more in the future. The basis for this replica manual is an original Kawasaki Rider's Handbook that has a red cover with SILVER lettering on the cover and and inside it features photos of the 1973 S1A / S2A. I'm just an amateur at this but it's my understanding after doing some research that this Rider's Handbook is the SECOND EDITION owner's manual that was published in 1972 for use with the 1973 model S1A and S2A. This second edition manual was published in August 1972 (with silver cover lettering) and followed a similar first edition that was printed in June 1972 (with solid black cover lettering). Typically a 1973 model motorcycle / motor vehicle became available in the Fall of 1972. I compared both editions of these manuals and it seems the second edition (with silver cover lettering) was published to correct errors and omissions that were present in the first edition (solid black cover lettering). So I decided to reproduce the second edition which is not only more useful than the first edition, it's cover is really eye-popping and its printed on excellent quality linen stock. The nomenclature on the back cover of this manual cover includes part no. "99997-546." Please keep in mind, this is not a cheap, low-quality photocopy that was made from a low-resolution "PDF." This handbook has been professionally reproduced to match every detail of the original, to include the size (approx. 4.5" X 7.25"), grade, and color, of the paper it's printed on. In that regard we did the best we could, but I cannot say the color and texture of the cover is an exact match (see photo on auction). The most challenging part of the reproduction process is related to matching the color and texture of the cover. After extensive research into paper stocks it was concluded that an exact match of the cover color and texture was not possible. But unlike the dull, faded, stained, and/or worn covers we are all used to on our original manuals, the cover on this replica is brand new, a very close match, and very durable. With regard to the cover a thick, smooth, and more modern and durable paper was used instead of the thin, porous "construction-paper" like cover of the original that was prone to wear, ripping, and soaking up oil! This reproduction's cover is durable and can even be wiped clean if something spills on it. All the artwork (photos, graphics, typeset) and paper stock for the interior pages have been painstakingly reproduced - virtually all flaws have been removed from the pages (though some minor print flaws including slightly faded font remain). But this replica has no crooked pages; no signs of rips or tears; no fingerprints; no oil and grease marks; no handwriting; no smudged or obscured printing, etc... When comparing this replica to an original one thing you will notice is that the original will look old, worn, and/or faded and this replica looks like a brand new handbook. For example, the size and placing of the staples holding the book together have even been carefully matched! The interior pages are smooth, glossy, and bright white just like the originals, and they feature crisp black print and vintage black and white photographs.I OFFER FREE WORLDWIDE SHIPPING on this item, and check my feedback for satisfied customers from all over the world.
