Description: This auction is for a Mattel 1971-dated Skipper Fashion Originals #3296 "Red White and Blues" Never-Removed-From-Box, both ends factory sealed. This rare and colorful fashion includes TWO different outfits: a long, old-fashioned print-dress (highly detailed) AND a contemporary top/shorts/socks set. Red shoes, hanger, and fashion booklet are also included. The box displays nicely for its age but does have WEAR: denting on both sides of the middle, crease in lower left corner, and denting on sides of package (as you often see on these large-size Fashion Originals for Barbie and Ken as well). The window is tight with NO splits. In 30+ years of collecting, I think I have only seen this outfit in NRFB condition a couple times, at most. It is very colorful and quite impressive new in the box! I don't think it has ever been shown NRFB in any reference book. It is now 53 years old and will be a treasure for the NRFB Vintage Barbie & Skipper collector. The fashion in the photos is the EXACT fashion you will get. Comes from a smoke-free home.
