Description: Up for sale is this beautiful 1969 Fender Stratocaster Quick Details Year 1969 / 70 neck plate Color Sunburst Weight 8.02lbs Nut Width 1.59” Depth at 1st Fret 0.88” Depth at 12th Fret 0.94” Case Original Hard case w/ candy and original owners name engrave ashtray cover Serial # 281302 Description Just in is this beautiful 1969/70 Stratocaster. We label it 69/70 because every part of the guitar dates to 1969 except the neckplate which is the original neck plate that has a very early 1970 Serial number. The pots date to the middle of 69 and the neck stamp does also. The body itself is in great shape with minimal wear. There are a few wear marks on the lower bouts from the case and a small chip and very light scratches on the back of the guitar. There are also a few small chips in the paint by the pickups on the top portion of the pickguard. These are all pictured. You are not going to find a cleaner example of a 69 Stratocaster. The pickups and electronics are also all original. A small message was engraved on the metal film on the back of the pickguard from the original owner(pictured). The neck is also in amazing shape and has no wear in the clear at all. The rosewood fingerboard is in great shape and the frets are also. The guitar was recently set up and plays flawlessly! The tuners and the rest of the hardware on the guitar are all original. The Original whammy bar was not in the case when we received the guitar. The Bridge cover, strap, and brochures from fender are in it from new. The Bridge cover has the original owners name engraved on it. The case is original to the guitar and is also in outstanding condition with a small Woodstock badge above the Fender Logo.
