Description: 1966 #1314a-1322a Tagged Varieties MNH "Getting hard to find."Original Gum Mint Never Hinged.Post Office FreshShipping Discount .25 each Additional Item.100% Satisfaction Guarantee. In 1963 the USPS started experimenting with tagging stamps by applying a phosphorescent substance to the stamps. On May 19, 1966 the phosphor-tagged stamps were expanded to the commemorative series starting with the 1314 National Park Service issue (#1314a) and continued through Mary Cassatt (#1322a). Only about 12% of these 9 varieties were tagged and are getting more difficult to come by. After January 1, 1967 most regular issues through the 16c, all commemoratives and additional postal stationary were ordered tagged. Thanks For Looking Please.
