Also illustrated with some line drawings by Sarah Carter (?). Finished size is approx. 4 3/4 inches x 6 1/2 inches; opens to approx 9 1/2 inches x 6 1/2 inches for reading or perusal. An interesting & "homey" local history which began as a history of Williamsburg Baptist Church but expanded into a history of the entire Williamsburg Alabama community in West Jefferson County [near Hueytown Alabama but Williamsburg has now been annexed by Hoover Alabama]; lots & lots of family histories with MUCH genealogical interest. ONLY 1 (ONE) OTHER ON EBAY as of 21 August 2024 ;-} NEAR FINE CONDITION. This book (and a number of others I plan to list on eBay within the next 6 weeks) was legally deaccessioned from the rare books room at Birmingham Southern College which recently closed up forever :-{ and their "rare" books were sold at auction to benefit "closing the college campus down." That being said, this book is in NEAR FINE CONDITION, having only a neat "Bryant Whitmire collection" bookplate (a "plus" I think because of the Whitmire connection) on the inside front cover; NO OTHER MARKINGS ANYWHERE. There are NO CARD POCKETS, NO "DUE DATE" SLIPS, NO MARKS ON THE SPINE, NO STICKY LIBRARY STICKERS, NO MARKS ON ANY OF THE BOOK'S PAGES . . . . . . And, if you like, the bookplate can be easily removed by following instructions found on a video via G O O G L E. Again, a near fine copy _________________________________________________________ (the fine print ... [sigh] ... but please read :-) WE REGRET WE DON'T SHIP OUT OF USA; SORRY, BUT NO EXCEPTIONS.
