This original February 25, 1962 contract with MacGregor (equipment manufacturer) is signed by 1968-1980 Tigers/Royals/Pirates pitcher Jim Rooker. Rooker has signed this contract once on the front, and again three more times on the reverse. As of this 1962 Lakeland, FL. signing, Rooker was with Jamestown, which was the D affiliate of the Tigers. Rooker would spend a couple of games in his rookie season with the 1968 World Champs Tigers, then in 1979 would make a couple of appearances in the 1979 World Series for the Champions Pittsburgh Pirates, working 8+ innings with an ERA of just over 1!
