1962 Chevrolet Nova

Description: In 1962 Chevrolet made 326,607 Nova's, but only 23,471 were convertibles. Here we have a super fun 1962 Chevy Nova 194 6 cylinder with 55K miles (I believe is actually correct) a New 9/24 A/C Delco Gold battery (42 month full warranty) upgraded HEI ignition and high voltage chrome coil see pics. Brand New fuel line and carburetor just have been installed, however the **carburetor and timing need to be fine tuned** (I just preinstalled really quick and its running actually surprisingly good for now) for perfect running low mile six cylinder engine. I still have the original points distributor and coil that work good along with some miscellaneous parts that will be included with the car. Factory 2 speed Powerglide transmission that works as it should, the transmission leaves a spot on the driver side of the pan gasket if not run or driven after a couple of days. Factory 10 bolt 3:08 rear differential now has new seal, no leaks and is 100% functional. New rear air shocks for smooth ride and perfect rear height setting of your choice.. Brake shoes and drums are new. The Nova now has New Tires 6/19/24 and I had an alignment done as well, however now has a squeak when pushing hard directly up/down on front passenger side of the bumper. (control arm bushing) However the car rides/drives like a dream now.Body work and **Gorgeous Rally Red Paint** that just pops, especially in the sunlight! The car was pulled from a MN farm that had been sitting for many many years, The rockers and original deck lid were very solid however floors and trunk completely rusted . The hood has been replaced from a different original solid "62" Nova The car has had the full floor and truck pan replaced with fresh rock solid panels with a sprayed-on bed liner. Both Rear Quarters have been replaced with New Full Goodmark Panels, Also the doors are original "62" and have New Goodmark Outer Panels on both Driver /Pass sides. Both front fenders are Aftermarket that have been replaced and look great. The doors, hood, and trunk open/close with ease. THIS "62" IS ROCK SOLID, The bottom of car looks just as good as the top (see pictures) - NO RUST AND LOOKS GREAT RALLY RED! Please feel free to come and do complete inspection, Nothing to hide here. The interior has new recovered/foam front and back seats. Heater and wipers are in working condition. Floor vents open/close free and smooth. All windows roll up/down, doors have new felts and rubber seals. The High/Low beams, Turn signals, Brake lights, interior lights, and license plate light- all in working condition. New fuel tank and sending unit installed however the gas gauge seems to be sticky or working but off a bit. The metal convertible frame is still original factory and the Top has been replaced with the more expensive usa heavy duty and is very New. The parade boot is a red Sierra grain vinyl and in like new condition that shows well. A New radio also just installed that fits the factory dash (dash was not altered) no wires were cut (plug and play) system. The new windshield now replaced with a New heavy duty rubber molding. Mirrors and door handles are New and beautiful as well. Bumpers, grill, radio antenna trunk emblem are original and show wear up close, But yet still have a real nice appearance for car shows and events. New sill plates and carpet. There is a ton more replaced new parts to list- I'm sure that I have forgot...but will list going forward. I am open to all reasonable offers, This Nova truly is a must see in person and speaks for itself- No I definitely don't need help selling this one - The car is not 100% perfect and it does have (see pics) flaws, but it is truly amazing, fun to drive, and definitely gets a ton of attention wherever you go especially at the car show.This is an awesome car at this price- *do your research* I prefer and encourage the new owner to inspect / test drive- Nothing to hide here on my "62" / and also pickup after purchase- or I will be available to assist with a *transport company* on weekends due to my schedule.Funds will be 100% secured before title and car will be released NO Exceptions!
