Description: Vintage 1960's 7 ft Aluminum Christmas Tree "Sapphire" by Regal Electronics Inc of Chicago, IL Model # 737. The tree comes in its original box. The tree has a 2 piece Kaiser aluminum trunk with fold out stand on the bottom. The trunk has slots to slide the branches into. It has 73 aluminum branches with plastic silver tinsel individually wrapped in paper sleeves. There are also 3 small pieces of extra tinsel to slide onto ends of the metal branches if necessary. The original instructions are included. One end box flap is torn off but I will tape it back on. The box has some wear and age discoloration. The box says the foil (tinsel) is mechanically fastened to the branches and the branches have "twist & curl" needles. I have not assembled the tree but the trunk/stand is straight and is in excellent shape and the branches all appear straight as well. It should be noted; NO LIGHTS OR WIRES SHOULD BE USED ON THE TREE as it is metal and would cause a fire hazard. The tree will be double box when shipped. I have estimated shipping to the farthest point from me since it is oversized. It will be shipped using UPS ground. If the actual shipping after the purchase is less than my calculated amount, I will issue a partial refund for the overage.
