Description: A vintage serving set from the late 1960s/ early 1970s, in the Danish modern pattern, Prado. Designed by Jens Quistgaard for Dansk Designs (Known as Dansk International Designs beginning in 1974). Prado was introduced in the late 1960s/ early 1970s and features clean, minimalist, mid-century lines with a raised geometric pattern on the handle. Original Dansk Designs production in the early years (late 1950s to mid-1960s) was in Germany, Denmark, and Finland before moving overseas to Japan and later other countries. Quistgaard designed flatware, dinnerware, furniture, and much more for 3+ decades and by the early 1980s had designed over 2,000 household objects for the company.
