Description: For sale is a used instrument cluster gauge assembly for all 1959 Edsel (Corsair, Ranger, Villager, etc). The assembly is dated June 1959. The unit was partially restored including cleaning out dust & debris, testing each gauge, zeroing the odometer, polishing the clear lenses to remove scuffs & scratches, painting the needles the correct bright orange, and replacing the green turn signal & red high beam indicator filters, all to original specifications. The fuel gauge & speedometer work as intended. Please note, the temperature gauge is non-functional. If you'd like to send me your gauge, I can paint the needle the correct orange and install it into this cluster at no additional charge. The original gold gauge faces have a light patina including some mild discoloration, mostly seen on the speedometer. The chrome housing is bright and reflective with some pitting throughout. The original wiring harness hold-down clips are still installed on the back. Please see the pictures. Please note: This instrument cluster must be installed with a constant voltage regulator (CVR) outputting the correct 5.5 volts (an average of an alternating ~4.5V to ~6.5V signal). If 12 volts are applied directly to the fuel, oil, and/or temperature gauges, they will be irreversibly damaged. Therefore we cannot warrant gauges after they leave the shop. At the time they are shipped, they are tested and 100% functional (with the exception of the temperature gauge mentioned above). Domestic shipping to 48 states at a standard rate of $28.
