Description: This is a 1955 NFL official game ball, presumably game used, presented by the Detroit Lions to "Don." The ball is beautiful, with a few scratches and the paint is somewhat discolored from age, but not worn or chipped off. The ball is holding it's shape but is not fully inflated, and I haven't tried to inflate it. Great Bert Bell NFL football. I don't know who Don is - I don't see any Dons on the roster or otherwise closely associated with the team.
