Hilliard (center), who has served on the Colorado supreme court bench for more than twenty years, received a large photo of actor Louis Calhern, who appears as the late Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes in the film, "The Magnificent Yankee". The presentation was made Tuesday night on behalf of Calhern at a preview of the movie at the Paramount distributing office at 2100 Stout Street. The screening was for judges and lawyers of Colorado courts and members of the Anti-Defamation league. At right is Edward Miller of the league. Benjamin Clark Hilliard (January 9, 1868 - August 7, 1951) was a U.S. Representative from Colorado, and a two-time chief justice of the Supreme Court of Colorado (Wikipedia).
