Description: Hi again folks, well here I have another nice reconditioned 3-spd. transmission, for 1942-1952 Ford F1 pickup style, open drive, ready to go to work for you. Direct fit for 1948-52 Ford pickups with 3- spd. transmissions. Also is very popular one for hot rodders. Ready to drop in. Just need to add grease. Features open drive. This unit is the ever popular 78 case, 81A shifter with 3" fork. Has the 29-15 gears. What I do is, completely disassemble transmission, inspect all parts, and clean all parts. I then take the case and shifter to machine shop and clean with engine blaster. I then reassemble, replacing bad parts, using new gaskets and seals. I then prime unit black, pictures show grey.
