Description: 1940's Military School Annual featuring the graduating seniors, faculty, sports, activities, local advertisement, pictures of the school and surrounding, and literature; and including future iconic western actor Dan Blocker who appears in this issue in the junior class, playing tuba for the band, rolling a cigarette, and lounging around. Wonderful photos and vintage World War Two era design, from a small school with 75 graduates. Dan Blocker most notably is remembered for his roll as Hoss Cartwright in the long-running popular television series Bonanza (1959-1973) which won every award. Blocker was also in television and films such as Cheyenne, The Restless Gun, The Rifle Man, Have Gun Will Travel, Gunsmoke, and The Rebel. He was a Korean War veteran who received the Purple Heart for wounds he received in battle. Very Good condition hardback with tight binding and text and clean pages, with no must or mildew or missing pieces, with mild shelf wear. Clean and Solid.
