1940s-1950s Maine map tablecloth, screenprint, Perry's Nut House etc., cabincore

Description: ITEM: Vintage souvenir tablecloth featuring one of those great tourist maps highlighting local industry and all the must-sees for your Maine vacation: Old Orchard Beach, Acadia, Mt. Katahdin, the Desert of Maine, lobsters, and the one absolute imperative, Perry's Nut House, which used to be much more entertaining in the old days than its modern revival. This is screen-printed onto loosely-woven but stiff ecru linen or cotton. It is hemmed on the sides; selvage edges on the top and bottom. No brand or other attribution; probably a small run by a local firm. I'm guessing 1940s or 1950s based on clothing depicted, the decline of the touted sardine canneries in the 1960s, and the fact that Old Orchard Beach was still a hot spot. 40" tall x 34" wide. Would make a great wall hanging. CONDITION: Two small discolored areas (see photos). Otherwise doesn't seem like it was ever used. See photos for details.
