1940-1950 Era Buick Sonomatic Tube Radio AM Model 980979 Low Serial # 4265

Description: Vintage Buick AM Sonomatic Radio Model 980979 Used - For Parts This is a generational family farm find and was from one of my grandfather's Buicks. Don't know which one. We did not try to clean it up at all so this is exactly as it has been found on the farm. On model and serial plate, the fourth number of model is hard to read see pictures but I think it's 980979. It might be 98 0079 or some other combination. The serial number is very low only four digits. I am pretty sure this is a 6 volt. Not tested and right hand knob is missing. See up close pictures the left hand knob has tone, treble, bass writing. Heavy radio. Let me know if you need more pictures.
