Description: 1927 Zeenut (PCL) -JOSEPH "JOE" STORTI (Portland Beavers) . The Zeenut series was produced every year by the Collins Candy Co from 1911 to 1938, each set contained somewhere between 48 to nearly 200 cards and includes many players that were both future or former Major League players. The 1927 set is one of the more unusual of the "Black & White" Zeenut issues from the 1920's, half the set can be found with a small "27" on front above the name while the other half have a large "27" in a box on front (the only time they would employ that style of "dating").
