Val (since 1927, several more editorswere added: R.A. Muklevich, P.A. Smirnov, K.I. Zhakovshchikov, V.V. Vishnevsky). In 1926, the magazine was publishedonce a month; since 1927 it was published twice a month. The magazine published materials on the history of the fleet,shipbuilding, training and education of naval officers, and party-political articles. There was also a section “Beyond the Red Lines,” telling about the navies of foreign countries.
