Description: This is a 1922 soft-cover book (see picture) entitled MICHIGAN LAWS MADE PLAIN, given out by PEOPLES STATE BANK of STANTON, MICHIGAN. An advertisement on the back cover of the book shows that the capital of Peoples State Bank was just $25,000. In this book, 100 pages in length, the author tried to include the substance of general provisions of Michigan laws of interest to the average citizen--from schools and nurses to the administration of estates! It is clean and intact, exhibiting some wear (edges) and discoloration from handling and storage over the past 102 years. Except for the name of the original owner written in pencil on the inside first page, there appears to be no handwriting in the book. It would make a nice addition to your own collection, or it would make a wonderful gift for that legal enthusiast, Stanton historian, or vintage book collector in your life! Postage is $4.50. And, of course I'll combine postage on multiple purchases. Sorry, NO international shipping. Be sure to check the other items in my eBay store, too!
