Description: This watch is a family heirloom and was given to me many years ago in nonworking condition but in otherwise perfect shape, with its original box and license. I took it to a third generation watchmaker who spent two years finding the particular part needed to fix it. It is now running and operating perfectly. I know very little about pocket watches and even less about this particular one so I cannot say exactly what model this is. Please contact me with any questions – I can reach out to the watchmaker for any information needed or questions that you might have. Please read the license enclosed in the original box, as well as this entire description, very closely. As antique pocket watches are entirely out of my wheelhouse, I do not want to misconstrue or convey any inaccurate information. Again, I will check with the third generation watchmaker from whom I just received this back regarding any information I don’t have in hand. Everything I know about this watch is written on the license contained in the box – I don’t have the manual booklet or anything else to go with it, just the original box, license, and watch. The condition is absolutely excellent. Please examine the license closely: two small sections of the paper have been removed with a razor and I have no idea why or by whom. Regarding the details provided for this item, it’s possible that I’ve made an error as eBay auto populated certain fields for me. For example, I’m unsure about it being gold fill – I’m also unsure about the gold purity. Regarding any particular detail in the specifications, please reach out to verify that the information in this listing matches your needs. I tried to remove anything I’m unsure about. As the earliest patent given is listed as being issued in 1905, with the last being issued in 1912, I assume This was made in 1912. Other than the fact that it has been repaired and now works perfectly, it is otherwise unaltered and as far as I know, I am it’s fourth owner after my father, his father, and it’s original owner being my great grandfather. I have not altered this watch, its license, or the box, and the watch has not been swapped with any other license or box — this is neither an estate find nor an item I bought anywhere. It has been passed through my family for four generations. This is the original box and license that belong to this pocket watch; The box closes securely with a push button. I received it in the same condition that my father did from his father. Unfortunately the booklet that I assume came with it, or operating manual, was lost at some point or not passed on to me. As written on the license attached to box: Movement number: 119-7190 Case number 146353 Number of jewels 17 Adjustment temperature (not sure what this means) Isochronism and three positions “This watch numbered, described and valued as above, is covered by one or more of the following US patterns: number 781,263, dated January 31, 1905; number 796,162, dated August 1, 1905…” Please read the license carefully! Thank you for looking and I apologize for the lack of full information.
