Description: I have here for sale a RARE edition of JAPANESE FAIRY TALE SERIES NO. 6 - THE MOUSE'S WEDDING. Translated into English by Mrs T. H.JAMES crepe paper book is illustrated throughout with traditional Japanese illustrations. Published by GRIFFITH FARRAN & CO, London & Sydney, it is undated but published around 1911 (ref. Library Hub) and is thought to be their First Edition. Also known as the Kobunsha's Japanese Fairy Tale Series (12 in all) and printed by Kobunsha in Tokyo. Soft crepe paper covers and pages, a little age soiling to the covers. Bottom edge of front cover, cuts through publishers name. Small amount of loss to the cover of the top and bottom of the spine. Small amount of loss to top corner of back cover. Please see photos . It is in good condition, clean interior, tightly bound with no loose or missing pages 16cm cx 10cm. 22pp including covers. Postage and packing : I know that you will be looking forward to receiving your order, each book is carefully wrapped in packing paper ( I have changed from bubble wrap to try and reduce my use of plastic) and posted in a Jiffy bag if size permitting, if not it is double wrapped in corrugated cardboard, brown paper and then securely taped. To keep the cost of the postage down to the most economical level per book, you may consider buying more than 1 item from my eBay account. You can then request a combined postage cost and I will combine the items into the fewest parcels as possible - saving you money :) My main posting days are Monday and Thursday ie.
