Description: Here we have for sale a very rare and unusual catalog. This ORIGINAL 1906 catalog is from The Chicago House Wrecking Company. They were an architectural salvage company in Chicago Illinois that bought the remains of the 1904 World's Fair in St. Louis as well as the 1893 Worlds' Fair in Chicago. Must have been one hell of a project dismantling those events. There are 410 pages in this catalog filled with a crazy amount of surplus. Dishes, furniture, Persian rugs, statues, it is an insane catalog (please see pics). The soft cover is solid with minor edge nips. Spline is tight with about a half inch missing at the base. The 410 pages are complete and in very good shape (one page has a factory flaw, see pic 8). I have been doing this for several decades and have never seen another one.
