Description: Print shows Inula Roylei. Original antique print from Flora and Sylva (published in London) edited by Wm Robinson. Published in 1903, 120 years old. Artist: H G Moon. Inula is a large genus of about 90 species of flowering plants in the family Asteraceae, native to Europe, Asia and Africa. This print is particularly noteworthy for the richness of the colouring, resulting from the chromolithographic process used to produce it. Condition Report - Bright vibrant colours. Thick creamy coloured paper. As the print is 120 years old there maybe some foxing around the print but this only adds to the authentic appearance of the print. Please examine the photographs (enlarge and examine carefully) which constitute part of the description. Print size approx. 22.3 cms x 32 cms; 8 5/8 inches x 12 1/2 inches. The rear of the print is blank. Sold unmatted and unframed.
