Description: Chartres Cathedral Statues du Portail Royal Print on Card A Mayeur Signed This little card front with a print drawing on it of the Royal portal side of the Chartres Cathedral in France is preowned and is in good condition for the right person. This card was found many years ago with some memorabilia and souvenirs from a memory chest we had purchased. It was located with some postcards though it is not a postcard and is either the front part of a greeting card that has been cut in half or is an original piece of linen stock paper in a post card size or basically, we are unsure. The origins are unknown, we truly do not have a lot of history of this item. The picture appears to be a pencil or pen sketch print that is on a thicker linen type paper. The bottom is written: Chartres Statues du portail Royal and to the bottom left of the drawing is signed what looks to be " a Mayeur". The item is in good condition. It does have age related discoloration but is a nice antique piece that can be framed or repurposed in other ways. The item measures approximately 5.5" long x 3.5" wide which is consistent with a standard postcard measurement but there is nothing on the back of this card. It is a beautiful piece we hope to find someone to love this as much as we have over the years. We invite you to review our photos for the best views of the item and to see any of the conditional issues mentioned above. Shipping can be combined on most items.
