Hardback book with pictorial boards. This is a beautiful book of photographs of Paris and its suburbs taken by 'ND' and published in photograveur around 130 years ago. Each of the 54 high-quality pictures are printed single-side on thick card pages with blank reverse sides. Each page has a caption in French, English and German. All 54 pages are firmly bound in to the book - this binding method results in 'stubs' appearing between the pages, an example is shown in picture five above. This wonderful book is finished with all edges of the page block being gilded. CONDITION: This secondhand book has reading-wear and tanning with age throughout the book.
