Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing. Alexander Stuart Murray was a Scottish archaeologist, best known for his work on Cyprus. In 1867, Murray entered the British Museum for the Greek and Roman antiquities department. This folio provides a look into the terracotta sarcophagi that were available for viewing in the British Museum during the late nineteenth century.
