Description: 1896 rare 30 page un bound Literary Rebuses, hand made with great precision and patience. All pictures and characters, I believe, had to be cut out by hand, and pasted on cardboard pages ( this set is 9" X 10" X .040 thick). The pages are complete with WORDS or PHASES but all the pages have, after 127 years, lost some of their edges and corners from family use.
