You get the die cut embossed fold envelope with a dimensional bed of stiff crimped lace and die cut paper frame. There is glue residue in the center where, at one time, a religious icon was attached. We do not have that piece. Envelope measures approx 3 x 4 3/8". The flaps of the envelope are good with the bottom flap being discolored from maybe an oil stain Inside is a paper folded into 1/4s with a german poem or message. There are oil stains on this paper. Pen/ink handwriting signed and dated , I think 1878.
