It is from the German Bilder Atlas, considered the most extensive lexicon of natural and scientific images of the 19th century, published in Leipzig by Brockhaus, 1874. It is labeled in German. A facsimile copy of the title page is included. It is being sold as a single sheet from the Atlas, not matted nor framed, as seen in the pic. Great for framing or research since the copyright has long expired! Size: The image area measures approximately 8 1/2 by 11 1/2 inches (22x30cm) on a 10 1/2 by 13" (27x34cm) page with a margin all around as seen in the pic. Condition: The print is in Very Good to Excellent condition for its age with light tonal ageing, blank on the reverse, printed on strong paper. It is basically as shown in the pic.
