Description: Original circa 1870's-1880's large tintype of a farm with tent & outbuildings. Three people are standing by a table set up in the front of the tent. Measures 5 7/16 inches by 4 3/16 inches. This large tintype is approximately half plate size. Has some minor age flaws which are commonly found on most tintypes including some bends, some minor surface wear & aging, & some light surface rust on the back.There are some bumps & a few surface scuffs. Also, there are areas of emulsion loss along some areas on three of the edges. This interesting photo came from an old Pennsylvania collection of tintypes which was formed over several decades.
