The book was the property of the US Treasury. It has a bookplate from the US Treasury on inside of front cover. It also has a small black leather label at bottom of spine which says Treas Dept Library. The book features quarter-leather polished calf leather binding with leather tips. The covers have swirling design. It measures approximately 9" high and 6" wide. The spine has gold titling on leather labels. The covers are securely attached with no cracking or splitting of hinges. Book has 289 pages crammed with information. All pages are clean and tightly bound. The pages have beautiful swirling design on all three outside edges. The corners and edges show some wear, but this book remains in overall very good condition. This is an extremely rare antique book. This is a terrific book to add to a collection! Great gift idea!
