Description: The Centurion Tank ( A41 heavy cruiser) is arguably the best "war design tank" and one of the longest serving tanks of modern era. Designed in 1943 and was originally envisioned as heavy tank to compliment the lighter Comet. The General Staff originally limited the weight to 40 tons and wavered on the need for a heavy tank. To keep within the weight limit the original design had highly sloped armor. When the weight limit was lifted (production models at 51 tons) and the increased armor retained its high slope making one of the best protected tanks of WWII era. But the delay in getting final approval for the A41 heavy cruiser tank (Centurion) resulted in the first tanks arriving on the western front just after the German surrender. And fully operational units of Centurions were not organized until 1946. The models were designed by Marco Bergman and 3D printed under license at 1:56 scale. The tanks are in two parts the hull and the turret. We printed these models at 1:50 scale If you would like any other scale please contact us on our Rosa Miniatures and Games website: rosaminiatures.squarespace.com OPTIONS Hulls: Mk3; Mk5: Mk5 ARVE; Mk 5 dozer, ARV7 (shown the one with no turret).
