This system is uniquely keyed so there cannot be a miss mating between 12 and 24V which also makes the system short circuit proof. Once the clip is removed the port is deenergised so even if the contacts are shorted out by a metal object nothing will happen. Thus the MagCodePowerSystem is 100% short-circuit-proof. Applications The MagCode Power Systems already used in several OEM's are ideal for passenger cars, trucks, motorcycles, campers and boats where cigarette lighter receptacles are presently in use for exterior connectors on vehicles, under conditions of sustained charging and high current load.
