Description: This specimen of HIGH GRADE FINE GOLD ORE is taken right from a southern Arizona mine famous for its free-mill gold ore. The vein is a high quality hydrothermal quartz vein which contains a complex variety of minerals including pyrite, lensed quartz-calcite, silver, lead sulfides, and of course free mill gold. The gold in this ore is very fine and requires processing and magnification to see (see the photo). Basic gold processing will reveal the very fine gold particles. Crushing to 40 minus and panning will generally show the gold. Note that this item is a genuine unsearched piece of gold ore so no claim as to the true gold content is made.
