Description: Offered is this white porcelain "Andrea by Sadek" statue or figurine, made in Japan. The figurine depicts a woman (possibly the Buddhist goddess Quan Yin) holding large flowers, with flowers around the base as well. I don't know how old it is but it may be old enough to be vintage-possibly the 1970s-1980s? The company began importing Japanese works of art in the mid-1930s. The statue is approx. 14 1/2" high, is about 4" across and approx. 3 1/2" from front to back. It is in excellent condition; I see no chips, cracks or scratches. There is some light surface wear on the underside. I have another nearly identical statue (a sort of mirror image, with upper flowers on the opposite side) for sale; please take a look at it and at some of the other items in my eBay store!
