Description: I want to clear some space on my shelves, so I need to part with some of my collection. THIS IS MY LAST ONE! The Ehrhardt E-V/4 M.1917 German Armored Car was a fearsome addition to the WWI battlefield, delivering three machine guns in a four-wheel-drive metal-encased truck. They only saw limited action, however, as production was not able to keep up with demand. As you would imagine, their off-road mobility was an issue, and they really found their niche as a tool of the German police state after the Great War. Towering over any crowd, they could intimidate large groups and deal out merciless punishment if commands were not obeyed. Copper State Models began in Arizona in the 1990s and made a name for themselves creating models that bigger companies wouldn’t, especially WWI aircraft. More recently, the company was sold to some fine folks in Riga, Latvia and they have continued to make fine models of obscure and interesting subjects, like this one. I found a few listings for this kit on eBay (half from Europe), but I am a Top Rated Plus US seller who has this in stock and can reliably ship this item very quickly. Here is what I found about this unique kit around the web: The Copper State Models website (copperstatemodels.com) has a page for this kit with nine excellent photos of the parts on the sprues and an assembled (but unpainted) model. They also provide the following list of kit features: · High-quality Cartograf decals· 175 high-quality injection moulded plastic parts· Transparent parts· Instructions in color Scalemates.com has a listing showing this is a brand-new tool from 2022. The site provides a link to download the complete 26-page, full color instruction set and painting guide, as well as links to reviews, aftermarket parts and galleries of other Ehrhardt armored car projects. Marina Kryza presented an outstanding In-Box Review on the German-language panzer-modell.de site. She shows all the parts and many pages of the instructions in 40 high-resolution photos, including many close-ups to highlight the stunning level of detail molded in. She goes through the construction steps and shares her favorable opinions of the kit. Her Conclusion was: “We are dealing with an excellent kit here. The construction should not cause any problems, above all, the use of the filler should be completely omitted again. From my side, a clear buy recommendation! Due to the well-thought-out design of the kit, even an ambitious beginner should get a sense of achievement and you definitely have an exotic in the showcase...” I found a couple of Video Reviews on YouTube that show what comes in the box. Unfortunately, both are in German, although one has English subtitles. There is a 27-minute In-Box Review by Hamilkar Barkas that has the optional captioning. Modellbau-Koenig did a 15.5-minute Unboxing Review, but without any English. Watching either of these should let you know exactly what you are going to get. This kit is in a handsome 12.5” x 9” x 2” outer box with realistic box art. I understand there is a sturdy inner box as well. As you can see from the pictures, the package is in excellent condition and is still sealed with the original shrink wrap, so it is factory sealed and absolutely gift-ready. This item contains one complete injection molded plastic model kit with 175 grey and clear plastic parts and a large sheet of Cartograf decals. It requires cement and paint to complete as shown. I use eBay Managed Payments, but I no longer ship internationally. Auction winner pays the winning bid and for a limited time, this fascinating item is offered with $12 Flat Rate Shipping in the US! No reserve and a low starting bid. Check out my other great auctions and listings for combined shipping. Good luck! Those familiar with my listings can tell that I really enjoy these products and the modeling hobby. I like to provide more than just the bare facts about the items, trying to lead you into discovering more about the subjects and optimizing your builds (if that is your goal). I started out picking up models that I was interested in, with the eye toward building them when I had time. Always a bargain-hunter, I accumulated many more than I can build, so I found myself in a Collector status (sounds nicer than a hoarder). As I am sure you have noticed, my items are almost always sealed and in mint condition (I call them Gift-Ready), since I only open them when I am ready to build them. Now I enjoy making these products available to my fellow modelers; both Builders and Collectors. For the Builders, there are probably better (at least cheaper) ways to add to your project lists than buying from me, but you know you are getting top quality. For Collectors, my goal is to save you a few bucks over the competition for the same item in factory sealed and collectible (or resellable) condition.
