1/24 RAT FINK '49 MERCURY w/ FIGURE Mod Rods ED ROTH Merc ERTL Racing Champions

Description: I am currently selling other great diecast collectibles on eBay (including MORE Rat Fink!), and everything has "Buy It Now" prices! Racing Champions / ERTL Collectibles / "Big Daddy" Ed Roth Released in 2000 RAT FINK Die Cast in 1:24 scale Black 1949 MERCURY COUPE with green & yellow flames and large Rat Fink figure (with 8 Ball Gear Shift) "breaking through" the roof From the Mod Rods series It's common for this car to sell for $80 loose! Get one in a nice box for the same price! This is a wonderful Rat Fink Merc in 1/24th scale that was brought to us by Racing Champions (owned by ERTL) in 2000. The car is still brand new, having been well-protected in its box these past 23 years. The box itself has some wear to the edges, scuffs, some marks to the windows, etc. Still, it actually displays quite well. The box had been opened at some point, and I'm assuming this was because it was never sealed. There is a tear where one of the box flaps tucks in, and this was repaired from behind with tape. In the pictures above, you will find close-up examples of the various box issues to better understand any flaw. The car was removed from the box by me to document the condition via pics - I had no problem removing it since it appears it was removed at some point before. I figured it was better to be safe than sorry. As it turns out, the car is absolutely outstanding and will look beautiful in any hot rodder or Mercury enthusiast's collection.
