10 pc Vaillancourt Classical Christmas Creamware Punch Bowl, Ladle, 8 Punch Cups

Description: BEAUTIFUL - Judi Vaillancourt's "Classical Christmas" Creamware Punch Bowl Set - 10 pieces Set includes -- Punch Bowl, 8 Punch Cups, Serving Ladle All pieces are made of Creamware - which is a type of Earthenware, made from white Cornish clay, with a translucent glaze to bring out its characteristic pale cream color.This pattern was discontinued 2012 and the company that made this for Vaillancourt is no longer in business.The Punch Bowl (JVC2) is elegantly decorated with an embossed design of Santa's face and transfer of flora and fauna - deer, holly, mistletoe and other flora designs. There are two English Toasts scripted in panels on either side of the bowl. The transfer design is hunter green over the natural color of the creamy-white creamware/earthenware. Inspired by historical patterns originally made in Hunslet, England around 1770. The Punch Cups (JCV1) each has an embossed design of Santa's face, his "S" & "C" initials, a detailed cross hatch design on the body of the cup and a "twig" handle.The Serving Ladle (JCV15) has holly leaves embossed in the "bowl" and the handle resembles a branch from a holly bush.Classical Christmas Creamware was handmade for Vaillancourt by (the now out of business) Hartley Greens Leeds Pottery which operated out of Stoke-on-Trent, England. MEASUREMENTS - Punch Bowl - 14” diameter x 6 1/4” tall and holds about 3 gallons or 380 fluid ounces. Punch Cups - 5" × 3 1/2" × 3", holds approx. 6 oz. Punch Ladle - 13 3/4" length, bowl of ladle 4 1/2" x 3" CONDITION – Excellent, no chips, cracks and absolutely NO crazing. I found one "flea bite" on a rim of a cup, it looks like a tiny chip but it is glazed so was there from the factory (see picture). I purchased all pieces from Vaillancourt, used once and this beautiful set has been stored for 12+ years, three of the punch cups still have the Vaillancourt label on the bottom.
